More at Stake on November 6 Than We Think -

Great article in New York Times:  Vote for the Dinner Party — Is this the Year the Food Movement Finally Enters Politics?  OK, I get excited when a news article validates what I’ve been saying for some time now.

So we have a local food movement. What does that mean and will it grow roots.  Unfortunately, unless you’ve been living under a rock, no movement can take off in today’s world unless you play the game of politics.  We can go on and on and express all the sentiment in the world but until the movement achieves power along the lines of the NRA or AARP (that’s code for writing checks to politicians and then calling them out in public), we will never go beyond the label that is often given the movement — only for the elite who can afford wine pairings at fancy white table cloth restaurants.

You might be surprised that what’s at stake isn’t Romney vs. Obama.  It is something else — hint:  California.  Tune into Sunny Side Up Radio live streaming at www.sunnysideupradio.com from 11a – 12p every Saturday.
